Marc Rovner is currently the Managing Director of SmartAnalyst, a strategic research firm with offices in New York, London and New Delhi that specializes in primary and secondary analyses for businesses engaged in pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare, consumer packaged goods, advertising and financial investments. He is an international senior executive who achieved successes in the US, Europe Asia for Fortune 100 companies (Pfizer, Unilever, and International Paper) and entrepreneurial enterprises (SmartAnalyst, Reckitt Benckiser and Renaissance Cosmetics). Marc was previously the VP of Global New Markets at Johnson & Johnson (formerly Pfizer Consumer Healthcare) where he freshened every mouth in America with Listerine Pocketpaks and drove Pfizer’s $140mm acquisition of Purell hand sanitizer. Before Pfizer, he doubled the sales and profits of Cosmar, a private equity-backed US cosmetic start-up, and grew Benckiser’s UK business unit by 20%. Marc first honed his marketing skills in Unilever’s detergent businesses in Japan and New York. He has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from the University of Chicago.
